MNHW EXCO

The Melkbosstrand Neighbourhood Watch Executive Committee is a group of dedicated individuals who lead and oversee the Neighbourhood Watch operations. They ensure the smooth functioning of safety initiatives, coordinate volunteers, and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and community members. The committee is responsible for setting goals, organizing patrols, and managing communication to enhance the security and well-being of the Melkbosstrand area.

EXCO DUTIES

Shall be responsible to the members and the community for the efficient and
effective running of the MNHW organisation.

Chairperson: Provides overall leadership and represents the watch in community matters.

Vice-Chairperson: Assists the chairperson and steps in when necessary.

Treasurer: Manages the finances, budgeting for patrol equipment, and community events.

Control Room Manager: Oversees the control room, and manages/issues equipment.

Operations Manager: Oversees patrol schedules, volunteer training, and operational logistics.

Secretary: Keeps records, and minutes, and oversees communication between members.
